Day By Day Itineraries


A drive to the gate followed by park entry formalities. After securing our permit, you will be introduced to the crew and start our trek to Miriakamba. The trail is easy on this day. Tekking time : 3-4 hours
Overnight : Miriakamba hut (2500m).

After breakfast, a steep trek to Saddle huts starts. Along the way you'll pass across a forest glades and giant heather through an elephant ridge. Optional summit to little Meru can be done in the afternoon. Tekking time : 3-4 hours
Overnight : Saddle hut (3500m)

In the midnight hours an attemp to summit will start from Saddle. At early morning while reaching on the top, sunrise are seen astonishing over the peak of Kilimanjaro. After summit, descend back to the gate through Miriakamba and buffalo glade. Your transport will be available for pick up.
