Tour Overview


"Mount Kilimanjaro Hike, is a day tour to experience Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. You will be accompanied by our professional and well-trained mountain guide. You will hike until you reach the first hut. This is an amazing experience! Come climb with us!


After breakfast, you will be picked up, with packed lunch boxes in hand, and driven to Marangu Gate. At the gate, you will go through registration and pay park entry fees. From here you will start your 3-4 hours walk reaching the first hut, Mandara Hut, at an elevation of 2700m.
Along the way, you can admire the moss and lichens, vines, flowers, and spectacular orchids. You will visit the Maundi Crater and enjoy the breath-taking landscapes and picturesque view of Mount Kilimanjaro while you eat your delicious lunch. Your guide will then lead you back to Marangu Gate where the vehicle and driver will be there waiting to return you to your overnight hotel/lodge. This is where your safari will end....

MACHAME DAY TRIP machame. It involving going up to the first camp Machame camp 3000m and come back via the same route on the same day – there is a drive about 35km from Moshi, which will take 45 minutes – 1 hour, then at Machame gate you make registration and payment and get valid permit. The hiking starts at Machame gate at 1800 and the distance to cover to Machame camp is 11km (22km round trip) which will take 4-5 hours for each direction.
Attractions: Montane forest is the main attraction and it start few minutes after crossing the main gate. It is dense forest with a lot of species of plant such as Impatients Kilimanjaro, a flower which is found only at Mount Kilimanjaro. You might also see Blue Monkeys and black and white Colubus Monkeys.
NOTE: The Company will provide lunch which will be included in your payment. NOTE: It is possible to take a 3 day, 2 night hike of Machame and Marangu routes. This hike is ideal for people who are not able to climb to the summit because it stays below 4000 meters.
